Why am I getting the error "This number is already associated with another account. Please use a different number" during phone verification?

This error occurs when the mobile number you are trying to verify is already linked to an existing Delta Exchange account. Each mobile number can be registered with only one account on our platform, in line with our security and compliance policies.

Why this happens:

  • You’ve previously created an account using the same phone number.

  • You're trying to create a second account with the same number, which is not allowed.

What you can do:

  1. Log in with your original email ID: If you’ve already used this number, try logging in with the email linked to it.

  2. Forgot your email? Reach out to our support team — we’ll help you retrieve it securely.

  3. Want to update the number on a new account? You’ll need to use a mobile number that hasn’t been used before on Delta Exchange.

 Note: Reusing the same number on multiple accounts is not permitted to prevent misuse and maintain compliance.
